The Rewrite Assistant is an AI feature within AroFlo Field and Office that can help you turn your rough notes typed in AroFlo into professional-looking documentation, such as Task, Quote, and Invoice Descriptions, as well as Emails.

Areas
In AroFlo Field, AI Rewrite is available in the following areas:
Quote/Task Description/Quote Exclusions
You can use the Rewrite Assistant for the quote or task description, both when creating and editing a quote or task.
It is also available for Quote Exclusions.
Invoice Description
For Invoice Descriptions, the Rewrite Assistant will include an additional option to help you create an invoice description based off information from the task.
The assistant uses the following logic to create this:
- Task Client
- Timesheet Notes
- Task Description
- Invoice Description
- Task Notes
- Task Location
- Task Status
- Task Type
- Task Substatus.
Quote/Task/Invoice Notes
The Rewrite Assistant is available for quote, task, and invoice notes, both when creating and editing.
Labour Notes
The Rewrite Assistant is available within labour notes, both when creating and editing.
The Rewrite Assistant is available when emailing something to your client.
Using AI Rewrite
From the area of AroFlo you want to use the Rewrite Assistant (e.g. when adding a note):
- Type a few words of your note/description, etc.
- Tap the Rewrite Assistant button
- Make a selection from the available options, e.g. ‘Improve Writing’. See the table below for an explanation of each option.
- The Rewrite Assistant will suggest text for you. Check the provided text and from here:
- Replace to replace what you've typed with the text provided from the Rewrite Assistant, or
-
(down arrow) next to Replace > Insert Below to keep your original text but insert the text provided from the Rewrite Assistant below it. This is ideal if you want to edit your text and keep some elements of your original text and some of the Rewrite Assistant's. - Refine to choose another option and start the process again, or
- tap X to dismiss the assistant
- From here, edit your note/description as needed and Save.

| Generate Invoice Description | (Only available when editing an Invoice Description). This will create an invoice description based off information from the task. See above for more details. |
| Improve Writing | Ideal if you want to expand a little on what you've written. |
| Fix spelling and grammar | Only fixes issues with spelling and grammar. |
| Summarise | Ideal for long pieces of text and you want to summarise what you've written. |
| Elaborate | Ideal if you've only written a little bit of text and you want to write a more detailed account. |
