Asset List

Learn about browsing and using the asset list in AroFlo Office

Updated on January 3rd, 2024

The Asset List accessed through Manage > Assets is your company asset register. Whether you bulk import or manually enter your company or client assets, you can manage their details and check task or compliance history and more through this screen.

List Overview

What are Categories and why would I need to use them?

A category is a way of sorting your Assets, whether they are internal or for your clients. You must have at least one category to begin using the AroFlo asset register.

Adding and Managing Assets

When you first start using AroFlo, the asset list will be blank. However, there are different methods you can use to create them including:

During the process of creating an asset, you will need to have created (or use an existing category). Once you have some assets in your asset list, you will be able to start navigating them using the filters and searching tools.

Using Filters

Use the Client and Location filters to determine whether you are working with your own assets (internal) or client assets (external). If you find that you can't see certain assets, try adjusting the filter for Client or Location.

Searching for Clients and Locations

The filter dialog will show a list of your clients or locations in your AroFlo. When navigating to the Asset List using Manage > Assets, your business unit will be automatically selected. To search for a specific client, use the Client field or Location Name, then click Select Client. The Asset List will then only show assets related to your selected client.

If you would prefer to see everything in your client list, i.e. both internal or external, click Set No Client in the filter dialog.

Asset List Columns

Whenever you see at the bottom of a table, it means you can add or subtract columns to the screen you are on to get more detail about what you're looking at. In the Asset List, for instance, you can toggle asset image thumbnails.

Asset Location Column

Asset Location in the columns shows the last task location that the asset was used on, not the listed asset location, as this is represented by the Location column.
