Learn about the possibility of using your own GPS devices with AroPoint GPS

If you're planning on using your own GPS devices, please read on to find out what you need to know.

US availability
Our equipment tracking devices are currently unavailable to our clients outside of Australia. Alternative tracking options are available in the form of Field tracking and third-party app tracking.

 

Things to be aware of

  • You need to be using supported GPS devices (see below). If your devices are unsupported, you will not be able to use your own GPS devices with AroFlo and you'll need to purchase GPS units through us.
  • Some features such as Driver IDs will not be supported if you BYO devices.
  • You will be responsible for all configuration and setup of devices.
  • AroFlo reserves the right to block GPS devices' access to our server if deemed necessary (e.g. not configured correctly).
 

 

What next?

If you're planning on using your own GPS devices, our customer support team will first need to check that the devices are supported by AroPoint GPS. Please contact us to let us know you plan on using your own devices. You'll need to provide us with:

  1. GPS device info, e.g. name and model number
  2. A photo of the devices.
