Default Image Upload Resolution - Field

Learn how to set a default image upload resolution for uploading photos in AroFlo Field

Updated on January 4th, 2024

Setting the Default Image Upload Resolution may be useful when you upload a number of photos in the field with a limited mobile data plan.

The default setting for Default Image Upload Resolution (field) is 450px in order to help reduce file size. If you need more detailed or larger pictures, you may like to increase this size (see examples below).

Balance Time vs Resolution

When setting the Default Image Upload Resolution (field) you will need to balance how quickly the photo will upload (smaller size) versus visibility of the photo overall and the ability to see smaller details (larger photos).

Set a default image resolution

The default resolution for images uploaded via AroFlo Field can be set in Site Administration > Settings > Documents & Photos.

Choosing anything other than 'Original' may alter the original image properties, such as image orientation.
