How to provide us with your client and supplier files to import

To help you get your AroFlo site up and running, we can import your existing client and supplier data.

All you need to do is export and prepare your data using the instructions found in Import Clients and Suppliers. Then just email the files to us. We'll take care of the rest.

 

Import considerations

Multiple client / supplier contacts and locations

AroFlo can store multiple contacts and site / branch locations for a single client or supplier.

This information can also be included in your export files; however, you must ensure the client / supplier is referenced against each contact and / or location.

Import data to custom fields

If you have data that is currently not supported by the standard AroFlo fields, we can import this data to custom fields that have been configured within AroFlo. Custom fields can be added to Tasks, Clients, Suppliers, Locations, Assets, and Users. Examples of data you may wish to include are 'Installation Date', 'Customer Type' (e.g. VIP/Gold/Silver), or an internal reference number. This information can also be included in your export files; however, you must ensure the client / supplier is referenced against each custom field.

Custom fields must be configured in Site Admin before we can import this data.

Send your files to us

Once you have your client and supplier data files ready to go, simply send us an email support request and you can attach the files by replying to the confirmation email you receive from us.

Double-check your data before sending

  • All files for import must be sent either in CSV, Tab-Delimited, or Excel format to avoid a surcharge of $120/hr (ex. GST) for data conversion.
  • Importing your client and supplier data is included in your set-up cost; however, standard hourly rate charges will apply for any additional import requests if we have already imported your clients and suppliers.
 

 

How long will it take?

While we aim to complete data imports as soon as possible, please allow up to 5 working days. We will send you an email confirmation when the import has been completed.
