A Payment Gateway is used to facilitate online processing of debit and credit card payments via a third-party e-commerce service provider.
Sign up with AroFlo Payments so that your customers can promptly pay their invoices online, using online invoices.
- Send online invoices and let customers pay online using our secure client payment portal.
- Include 'Pay Now' links on your PDF invoices for prompt payment.
Connect with AroFlo Payments
If you haven't already connected to AroFlo Payments via the Getting Started Assistant, you can connect to it via Site Administration settings:
- Go to Site Admin > Settings.
If you have multiple business units, you can configure separate payment gateway accounts for each business unit. You will need to change the business unit at the top of the screen before clicking the Payment Gateway link.
- Use the search box to find ‘Payment Gateway’, or scroll down and click Add-Ons
- Click Payment Gateway.
- For AroFlo Payments, click Connect
- Tick the box to agree to the additional terms of service and click Connect
- Enter your email address and follow the prompts to either create an account or log in to your existing Stripe account
- You'll be redirected back to the Payment Gateways screen and the gateway should say Connected!
This will create a Payment Method with the name of ‘Credit Card’ and automatically include a ‘Pay Now’ button on your online invoices. If you want to include a surcharge for payments taken:
- Click the AroFlo Payments tile
- Click
Settings
- Add the surcharge
- Save.
Multiple payment methods using AroFlo Payments
If you've already set up payment methods and are using AroFlo Payments for more than one method, you won't be able to manage your surcharge and visibility settings from here; instead, there will be a link to your Payment Methods instead. See Payment Methods and Surcharges for more information.

Legacy payment gateways
If you had previously signed up with one of our legacy payment gateways, this will still be available for you to use and will already say Connected!
Additional charges
Legacy payment gateways incur additional charges.
Disable a payment gateway

If you decide to discontinue using a payment gateway, click Connected! to access the gateway's settings and then simply click Disable and confirm. Legacy payment gateways If disabling one of our legacy payment gateways, it will be gone from the list of available gateway options. |
