Using the barcode scanner on your device, or using an external barcode scanner, you can add new assets against a task or the client card.

Add assets to a task

To add an asset to a task:

  1. Open the Task.
  2. Tap More .
  3. Tap Assets.
  4. Tap Add Asset.
  5. Select a Category.

    New asset categories can only be added via AroFlo Office. For more information, see Create Asset Categories.

  6. Tap Create.

    If using pic2shop, tap Scan Barcode  at this point, and then continue with the instructions as of step 8.

  7. Tap Create Asset.
  8. Complete the relevant asset details.

    To use browser scanning, tap the (black square) within the Add Asset screen to populate the Barcode field and any custom fields that have been set up as 'Barcode' fields.

    If you're using an external barcode scanner paired to your device, tap into any field for which you have a barcode, e.g. Model No or Serial No, and scan the item.

  9. Tap Create Asset.

Add assets to a client

  1. From the menu, tap Manage > Clients.
  2. Tap the client's name.
  3. Tap Assets.
  4. Select a Category.
  5. Follow steps 6 - 9 above.
