Colour Settings

Learn how to colour your schedules in AroFlo Office

Colour settings let you customise the colours used to differentiate between the various types of schedules within your calendar.

To access the colour settings for your calendar:

  1. Click Settings (three dots icon).
  2. Click the Colours sub-section.

 

'Colour Schedule By' options

You can colour your schedules by:

  • task
  • resource - select background, border and text colours for individual resources
  • task and resource
  • project - all tasks in a project will have the same colour
  • tasks/project - all tasks in a project will have the same body colour but the task borders will be coloured differently
  • none - system default colours will apply.

To select how you want to colour your schedules:

  1. Select your preferred option from the Colour Schedule By drop-down list.
  2. Click Save.

 

Change schedule colours

You can customise the colours for task schedules, including background, border and text colour.

For timesheets, ad-hoc events and periodic or completed tasks you can change the background and text colours only.

 

To change your schedule colours:

  1. Click the (three dots) icon to access the calendar settings.
  2. Click the Colours sub-section.
  3. Make a selection from the Colour Schedule By drop-down list.
  4. Click into the field you want to change:
    1. To change the background colour, click Background
      b. To change the border colour, click Border (for Tasks only)
      c. To change the text colour, click Text.

      In this image, the dark purple that forms the top and edges of the tile is the Border, the palest mauve is the Background, and the Text colour has been left as white. The yellow background to the 'Meeting: Timesheet' entry is AroFlo's default colour for timesheet entries.
       
       
  5. Using the colour picker, select a colour by:
    1. Clicking and dragging the arrow up or down the vertical colour bar to your preferred colour (see below)
    2. Clicking and dragging the small circle in the colour square to your preferred shade (see below).
  6. Click to the next square and repeat the steps above.
  7. Click off the colour picker to close it.
  8. Click Save.
